FAQ

  • What does your design process look like?

The process starts with interviewing the client about themselves and the business or organization. I like to do some research about the specific job to see what other businesses are doing well or perhaps lacking. I take that information and create moodboards and sketches to create a basic idea and go over those ideas with the client. Once I make sure we are on the same creative path I design several mock-up designs to present to the client. Once the client goes over the designs and picks their favourite I make sure to send them all elements in the correct formats to complete the job.

  • What types of projects do you do as a graphic designer?

I am able to create you a brand guide for your business that will cover any and all marketing and advertising you do. This brand guide will hold a custom made logo (made by me), colour palette, typography choices, sizing, and much more.
Once we complete this step, we will be able to build you a brand that people will remember for years to come.
The first step is getting the customer to recognize and remember you!

  • Do you still do family photography?

YES!! I don’t think I could ever stop doing photography. Families, weddings, photo booths will always be on my “services” list. Now I have added commercial photography to the list and I can help build your business with customized photography.

  • What do you charge?

Each graphic design project has its own challenges and personalities. Some projects will start from scratch, some just need a poster, some require a re-brand including photography. It is best to message me for the free 20minute consult to see where your project lands. I can’t wait to hear from you.

  • How long does it take to make a logo?

A logo can take 2 hours to weeks. It all depends on the business and the client. Do they have a style in mind? Will the style work or should we discuss different options that might work better? Does it need to be drawn out or is it altering a previous design for a new look? It is always best to talk to the designer and work together to decide what is best for your business. Let’s chat today!

  • What are your photography costs?

Commercial photography will be a new offering and cost will depend on how the photos need to be taken and delivered. Shoot time, edit time, travel time, and delivery method can all play a part in the cost.
